Remove Background with GIMP

 Normally, you would use online tools to remove a background, but here is an alternative method you can use to remove the background from your image using GIMP.

You can download the GIMP software from the Microsoft Store. The logo looks like the one in the image below.



Before removing the background, make sure the alpha channel is enabled. You can find this on the right-hand side then right-click on your image to see the option.



1. Fuzzy Select

These tools allow you to select the area you want to remove, as shown in the image below. After making your selection, press the Delete button to remove the background.



2.Select By Color


These tools can be used to remove your background based on color. Simply select the color you want to remove, then press the Delete button. The background with the same color will be removed. An example is shown below.
